The Star '04 Girls I team embarked this fall season with high expectations and many goals in mind. Goals which were achieved as a result of team-work, work-ethic and tons of grit. Not to mention many video review sessions, Dr. Lee's Mental Skills classes, Individual Development Plans and optimized practices reviewed bi-weekly by our DoC, Juan Porras.

The team started with a very rigorous pre-season that consisted of two weeks of double-days training and one week of beach training. The club’s ultimate goal for the team was to finish the NorCal NPL season on a high note and injury-free.

The season has officially ended now. The '04 girls, lead by Yvan Trevino and Carlos Salcido finished tied for 3rd place in NPL 2, with a record of 5-3-0 and 1st place in the first round of NorCal State Cup and no major injuries.

Kayla Williams (NPL most assists, 9 assists) and Isabella Santos (NPL top scorer, 9 goals)

The team also got two more achievements this past season that are worth mentioning. Star Academy Football Club is proud to announce and congratulate Isabella Santos and Kayla Williams for the top-scorer award (9, Santos) and most-assists award (9, Williams) in this past NPL 2017-2018 fall season.

All these achievements could have not being reached without our amazing coaching staff, players, managers and families.

Thank you and congrats!
